Open House Party

Welcome to the CrossFit Blacksburg Open House Party!

We'll be having a blast EVERY Sunday for five weeks

during the CrossFit Games Open. Every Friday during

the Open, we will be running the Open workout. It will

likely be the prescribed version of the workout in the

All Levels and Int/Adv classes and it will likely be

the scaled version of the workout in the Beginner and

Beg/Int classes. However, this is COMPLETELY subject

to change, so work with us as we work through all the

BIG changes this year (read more here).

THIS IS A PARTY! We want everyone to have fun and

enjoy themselves. Be prepared for potlucks, workouts,

Eric with no shirt, drinks, kids, YOU name it, WE'VE GOT IT!

For the Open, you can choose from FOUR options:

1) You can register at the CrossFit Games website

and see how you stack up in the world! Sign up here.

We'll be doing the workout on Fridays, so one of your

training days would be on Friday to validate your score.

You can also participate with CrossFit Blacksburg (scroll to bottom)!

2) Pay $20 and get an extra day of CrossFit (each Friday)

for the 5 weeks of the Open, so that you can perform each

Open workout as an extra day of training (If you normally

train on Friday, you could pick another day during the week

as your extra day)

Or...

3) Pay $20 and perform the Open workout every Sunday

from 2-4pm - this guarantees you a spot on the training floor

with a judge (scale workouts included)

Or...

4) You may also do BOTH Option 2 and 3 for $40

As always, ALL spectators are welcome on Sundays to watch

and enjoy a drink or two with us! No cost, but we will be passing

the hat for donations - several clients have decided to match these

donations made each Sunday to the Animal Shelter :-).

The cool thing about the CFBB Open is that ALL proceeds

from the sign-up fee will be donated to the Montgomery

County Animal Shelter!

And yes, we know. The Event Price is listed as $0.

In order to get ALL of YOUR donation to the

Montgomery County Animal Shelter, we'll accept

cash or check. Plan to bring it with you Friday

February 27 or Sunday March 1.

The $20 fee to CrossFit.com is separate from the donation made

with Options 2-4 above.
